Last year, a Hungarian organic fertilizer company ordered an extrusion granulation production line from our factory. After a year of operation, it has become a core piece of equipment in their production system. This line, with its efficient granulation performance and stringent environmental standards, has achieved EU certification for organic agricultural equipment, setting a benchmark for Chinese fertilizer equipment entering the high-end European market.
Taking into account Hungary’s primary raw materials, livestock and poultry manure and straw, the line utilizes a drying-free extrusion granulation process. This process allows materials with a moisture content of 30% to be directly pressed into shape without high-temperature heating. The resulting pellets achieve a strength of 8-10N and a stable formation rate exceeding 96%. Compared to traditional local granulation equipment, this elimination of the drying step reduces energy consumption by 40% and prevents the destruction of beneficial bacteria in the organic fertilizer by high temperatures. The resulting product boasts a viable bacterial count of 200 million per gram, far exceeding EU organic fertilizer standards.
Taking into account Europe’s stringent environmental requirements, the production line has been comprehensively optimized. The fully enclosed granulation system, equipped with a three-stage dust removal device, controls dust emission concentrations to below 5mg/m³, meeting the environmental limits set by the EU CE certification. The equipment’s operating noise level is ≤75 decibels, meeting the acoustic requirements of factories near residential areas. On-site customer testing showed that all environmental indicators of the production line exceeded local regulatory requirements and successfully passed the Hungarian agricultural department’s annual audit.
“We are impressed by the granulation efficiency and environmental performance of this production line,” the customer’s technical director stated during a follow-up visit. The previous granulation equipment used had insufficient pellet strength, resulting in a transport loss rate of up to 8%. However, the Chinese production line has a product loss rate of only 2%, reducing raw material waste by approximately 120 tons annually. This organic fertilizer has been supplied to vineyards and vegetable production bases in Hungary and neighboring countries, and has received EU organic certification for its stable performance.
In the initial technical integration phase, our team spent two months optimizing the formula and granulation parameters based on raw material samples provided by the customer. A bilingual operating manual in German and Hungarian was provided upon delivery, and an engineer was dispatched for 15 days of on-site training. We have also established a 48-hour after-sales service system that complies with European equipment maintenance standards, ensuring peace of mind for our customers.
This collaboration demonstrates the competitiveness of Chinese fertilizer equipment in precision and environmental friendliness. We will continue to support the development of the global organic fertilizer industry with equipment and services that meet international standards, providing green agricultural solutions to more countries.
