Recently, a batch of fertilizer granulation production line equipment weighing over 200 tons was loaded and shipped from Qingdao Port, bound for a Turkish customer’s facility across the Mediterranean. This marks the 12th European project delivered by a Chinese fertilizer equipment export company this year, signaling the continued recognition of Chinese-made intelligent fertilizer production equipment in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.

The production line, tailored to the high potassium content of local Turkish raw materials, integrates core process modules such as disc granulation, low-temperature drying, and multi-stage screening, enabling flexible production of a variety of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizers and organic fertilizers. The equipment utilizes a fully automatic PLC control system, enabling real-time control of granulation moisture and pellet strength, ensuring a consistently high finished product yield of over 98%, a 15 percentage point improvement over traditional production lines. During the factory inspection, a Turkish customer representative commented, “The Chinese team’s solution perfectly solved our raw material adaptability challenges, and the production line’s designed capacity fully matches the local agricultural peak season demand.”

The delivery time from contract signing to completion was just 68 days, setting a record for the speed of delivery of similar equipment. To adapt to Turkey’s industrial voltage standards, the technical team developed a wide-range variable frequency power supply system, with 30% capacity upgrade potential. Key components are constructed of aerospace-grade wear-resistant materials, capable of withstanding 16 hours of continuous daily operation. Upon commissioning, the system is expected to help customers increase annual production capacity to 30,000 tons and reduce production costs by 22%.

As a leading exporter of fertilizer equipment, the company has provided nearly 300 customized production lines to 56 countries worldwide. The modular design of this Turkish project shortened the installation time to 45 days, and a technical team will be deployed on-site to provide one year of operations and maintenance support. This collaboration not only deepens technical exchange between China and Turkey in the agricultural equipment sector, but also further strengthens the presence of Chinese fertilizer equipment in the European market.
