Phosphate fertilizer granulation equipment decides the appearance, hardness and storage performance of finished phosphate fertilizer. Rotary drum granulator is the mainstream phosphate fertilizer granulation equipment. Inside the rotating drum, phosphate powder mixes with steam or binder and rolls into pellets. Smooth inner lining reduces material sticking. The drum speed and inclination angle are adjustable to control pellet size. It is suitable for large continuous phosphate fertilizer production with high hourly output, stable running and low maintenance frequency.
Fresh pellets from granulator contain high moisture. The rotary dryer removes moisture to strengthen pellet hardness. Then cooling machine lowers pellet temperature to prevent caking in bags. Screening machine separates qualified pellets, fine powder and big lumps. Fine powder returns to granulator for re-pelletizing. This closed-loop system maximizes material utilization and improves overall efficiency of phosphate fertilizer production.
Our granulator is reinforced for phosphate material which has certain corrosion and adhesion. Anti-stick lining reduces cleaning work. The transmission system runs smoothly with low noise. We match the granulator capacity with your crusher and raw material preparation section. If you already have phosphate rock processing machines, you can buy our granulation section separately to upgrade your line. Many existing fertilizer factories select this plan to save total investment.
We also provide optional anti-caking coating machine. After screening, coating agent is sprayed on pellet surface to isolate moisture. The coated phosphate fertilizer can be stored for longer time without hard lump, which greatly improves product competitiveness for fertilizer sellers.
Under proper raw material formula and operation, our rotary drum granulator can reach granulation rate up to 70%-85%. Pellet diameter can be adjusted generally between 2mm-4mm, which is the popular size for phosphate fertilizer market. The whole granulation section can be matched with 1t/h up to 30t/h phosphate fertilizer production lines. Our technical team will give formula advice and operation tips for your phosphate material.
